Why astrology?

There is plenty to learn about astrology and our zodiac sign. Learning about astrology isn’t meant to help you predict what the future holds. Instead, it’s more like a guidebook. A guide that can help you approach life in a better way. Astrology can:

  • help us figure out why we feel the way we often do;
  • help us how to cope with the surprises, ups and downs of life; and
  • teach us how to understand ourselves and those around us.

Astrology teaches us how to live our best life.

Let’s look to the stars.

…but I’m not a Taurus

Interestingly, even if you are not a Taurus, you can still relate to some, if not all, of the advice here.

As unique as we all are, we all still experience the same emotions and even sometimes, similar situations. Therefore, we can relate to some things found in Taurus, a few in Gemini, maybe only one or two in Cancer; and so on and so forth. There’s always something to learn.

An astrological sign is not a one-size-fits-all kind of jacket. Astrology can be tailored to suit our own purposes and needs.

Hence, be ready to discover something new.

The Nitty Gritty

The Taurus Woman: Shows an appreciation for romance. You are strong, feminine, amiable, and confident in your skills. You also have great instincts. Learn to listen to your inner voice. Your “gut feeling” is usually right.

The Taurus Man: Trustworthy through and through. When it comes to the things you love in life, a Taurus takes his time with them and savors the little moments. Remember to have that one day a week where you get to slow down and take a break.

The Real Taurus

What is a Taurus like? What is the perfect gift to give a Taurus? How to love a Taurus?

The answers to these golden questions are key in helping you, a Taurus, understand yourself, and us, non-Tauruses, understand others.

Communication: You are quite the charmer with your words. Although you are not flirtatious, you can be rather convincing and can make others do what you want. You are well spoken. When a Taurus speaks, they generally say what they mean and mean what they say. A Taurus is a great problem solver and the advice of a Taurus is to-the-point, constructive and sensible.

Home: Keep it tidy. Sure, you can have art on your walls and display your built Legos for you to see and appreciate. Put the books in order. Make your bed every single day. Set the pillows just right on the sofa. Come home to calm sanctuary. All of this gives you, a Taurus, peace of mind.

Self Care: Add in aerobic workouts and strengthening exercises. Think mountain climbers or bear crawls. After a hard day at work or after working out at max level, pamper yourself after a shower. Splurge on good moisturizing lotion and have clean towels at the ready. Nothing beats the smell of freshly-washed and fluffed towels!

+Connect to nature. Start a garden at home. Plant some flowers. Put a vase filled with poppies or succulent planters inside your home to admire daily.

More Taurus

Money: A Taurus is usually good with money, spending and saving. Maintain the course. If you feel you are not saving enough, it is the perfect time to start a budget. Keep track of your money.

Work: Your boss might be pressuring you to finish your project. It may seem that your boss is always looking over your shoulder. Remind your higher up that you are not slow, just careful and that your history and results speak for themselves. Use your excellent communication skills and empathy to convey your ideas and to move them forward.

Make Life Easy: Try to not get mad when things aren’t done your way. Perhaps your mom folded the t-shirts her way using the “Sideways Column” method and not in your preferred “Marine Roll” method. Oops! Take a breather and instead, appreciate it. Maybe someone didn’t stack the plates exactly as you’d like, remember to look at the bigger picture.

Last word: A Taurus might not seem the most friendly at times, but a Taurus is very generous to his close friends and family. They show their generosity in many ways. If they welcome you to their home, prepare to come to a place that’s comfortable and welcoming. A Taurus is hospitable and offers you the last piece of the pie. Just remember to take off your shoes on the way in and to wipe off your section at the table.

To love a Taurus

If you utter the words “I love you” to a Taurus, it most likely isn’t enough. A Taurus needs evidence and proof of this love. A Taurus wants something tangible. Cook a scrumptious meal or bake a delicious cake. Buy something for them or make something for them that reflects their style.

It can seem quite extra, but things of love are favored over spoken declarations and exclamations of love.

Ad astra

We continue to look to the stars for more information and guidance. We are in the middle of celebrating Taurus.
